It is one of the largest wooden structures in the world. You can easily walk from the train station, down the street from the park, and the signs there are easy to understand.
From the Nara Park where I could encounter the friendly deer, I followed the crowd to the Todaiji Temple. I saw a lot of tourists like Chinese, Western, locals and more. I think Nara is really one of the most visited places in Japan.
Wow! Look at that… This photo was taken far from Toadiji Temple entrance. I was very surprised how famous this place is. Even though the weather wasn’t good that day but still a lot of people. So, I was curious why this place is like this, when I was almost near at the Todaiji Temple, I was amazed by the structure because you could really see that this temple has maintained for so many years. It looked very old but yet still standing firm. I was mesmerized by the Temple.
Then inside was really jaw-dropping. I found the massive Buddha! Yes, it was really huge ones. From the entrance then inside you couldn’t miss capturing the view. Although, I was hesitant to take pictures because I thought that was a sacred place.
And there was a wood pillar with a whole at the bottom, it is said that if go through that hole, happiness will be yours. That’s their belief. It sounded strange to me. But I had a chance to sneak at that area and saw what other tourists do on the hole.
That was fun! If you’re chubby, please don’t try this, surely, you’ll stuck inside and that’s alarming LOL! Before you leave Nara, try to take a walk on the streets. I noticed that the street was quite similar to Dotonbori. There were many shops too I tried their Mochi. It was tasty. You must try it too!.
You could also buy some souvenirs in that place. In total, Nara is also a worth visiting place in Japan.
