TOKIO OMOTENASHI POLICY
This is a pet name for overseas travel insurance for temporary return of Japanese nationals and foreigners visiting Japan for an insurance period of ~31 days.
Coverage and premiums
This overseas (reverse overseas) travel insurance covers medical expenses (up to 10 million yen) and expenses for transporting a patient or corpse to the home country, etc., in the event that a Japanese national temporarily returning to Japan or a foreign visitor to Japan is injured or becomes ill in Japan.

Terms and Conditions

Individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of application
* the subscriber's valid email address must be entered on the screen at the start of the subscription procedure (the URL of the application screen will be sent to the entered email address).
Insured (person covered by insurance)
No injury or illness at the time of application
Do not engage in hazardous physical activity while traveling.
Not to engage in any occupation or duties during the trip.
* pre-existing medical and dental conditions are not covered.
Application Period
(Applications cannot be made for more than 5 days from the date of entry into Japan or from overseas.
* However, 30 days in advance is available for China, Hong Kong, and Korea

Insurance period is from 1 to 31 days
Starting Date of Insurance
The day after the date of application or the date of entry into Japan, whichever is later (the insurance period cannot be extended)
