Troubles when traveling abroad

Overseas insurance with credit card - No2

It must have been about 10 years ago.
A company I do business with applied for overseas travel insurance for three people. The company had received an order for an automobile production line and decided to send three employees to the United States for delivery and test runs.
After two weeks, we received a call from the company that one of the employees was killed when he was caught in a press.
I was working with three co-workers, and when it was lunch time, I left one of them to go to the cafeteria (he was working and said he would be right back later). It was during this time that the accident occurred.
We are accustomed to handling our own products on a daily basis. It was a hassle, so I removed the safety device and went to work. The body was transported to Japan, an insurance claim was filed, and the company paid the bereaved family with the death benefit.
Whether or not an individual's credit card can be used for supplementary overseas travel insurance? Reported the accident to the company with 3 cards.
They were not platinum, gold, etc. cards, but regular cards, so all the cards had usage incidental coverage. I was only going back and forth between my lodgings and the factory, so there was no use of the card.
Is it automatic or usage incidental, and what is the coverage? What about expenses for rescue? What about transportation of the dead body?
Reconfirm before you travel. Or, purchase travel insurance.

Overseas Insurance Included with Credit Cards

Automatic or supplementary coverage?
A scary story if you don't check your insurance coverage
thoroughly before traveling abroad.
