Five services offered by Tokio Marine & Nichido
We have a system in place to provide medical care with peace of mind, including appropriate hospital arrangements in the event of injury or illness, and telephone interpretation services (available in English, Chinese, and Korean).
1. cashless medical services
Referrals to appropriate hospitals in the event of injury or illness. Tokio Marine & Nichido will pay medical and drug costs directly to the hospital or pharmacy (*1)
2. interpretation by telephone, etc.
Interpretation service (available in English, Chinese, and Korean) with telephone support will be provided for medical treatment (*2)
3. repatriation of patients
Full support for repatriation to a medical facility at home or in your home country (*3)
4. travel protection
The service provides assistance in the event of lost or stolen passports or credit cards, booking and arranging transportation between airports and hotels, forwarding messages to family members and relations abroad, and providing travel-related safety information.
5. application
We provide smartphone applications with convenient features such as free Wi-Fi service and emergency calls (*4).

This service allows you to receive medical treatment without having to pay for treatment or medication at a hospital or pharmacy by contacting Tokio Marine & Nichido's service provider in advance and obtaining permission from the hospital or pharmacy.
2. Tokio Marine & Nichido service providers offer three-way telephone interpretation services via telephone or videophone that can be used in restaurants, hotels, etc.
3. Tokio Marine & Nichido service providers will arrange transportation, airport procedures, etc.
(4) Initial setup using the ID and password or authentication code provided at the time of contract is required to use the service.

If you are applying for insurance for the first time, premiums can only be paid by credit card (lump-sum payment). Steps 1-4 below are the process of applying for insurance.
